To the Los Angeles Lakers,
We are the Lambda Mu chapter of Alpha Phi Omega, a national coed service fraternity at California State University, Los Angeles. Alpha Phi Omega was founded in December 16, 1925 at Lafayette College, Easton, Pennsylvania and focuses in fields of service to our fraternity, campus, community, and to the nation.
Our mission is to prepare campus and community leaders through service by instilling in our members, leadership, friendship, and service. We believe no matter how minor the service we provide is, a small difference can be a big change in someone’s life.
The Forget-Us-Not concert benefits Together We Rise, a non-profit organization that helps children in foster care. Foster children are transferred from house to house with nothing more than a trash bag to carry their personal items. This concert will help to provide hope to these children and show them that in a place without a home, we care.
